Mai Khao Beach

In April the family had a quick weekend to Phuket and stayed at the Marriott Vacation Club on the pretext of applying for membership and enjoyed three nights free at this wonderful unspoilt patch of Phuket Island. The beach is almost deserted on account of it being a protected nature reserve for leatherback turtles who lay their eggs here once a year, and thankfully not a leopard skin speedo-wearing sex pest in sight!

One Night In Bangkok

Well, it looks like the traveling bug is back after a rather painful, mortgage being paid in the UK hiatus! This time we are just getting back to work again after a fantastic weekend in Bangkok, with its fair share of going out, shopping, sight seeing and … shopping.
