Oakham

At the end of November we all took our first overseas holiday to England, to visit Grandma for her birthday in Oakham. We also experimented with travelling direct from Stansted to Oakham by train, which turned out to be very convenient although it was a bit late in the evening when we finally arrived! We spent the weekend enjoying being at home, eating nice food and playing with Fezzie. Summer 2011 : Isle of Man

This year we headed back to the UK and then further into the unknown as we all travelled to the Isle of Man for the first time. We were thrilled to finally see how morfar, Birgitta and Minna have been living and it was a wonderful holiday. Remembering my father

There’s a saying in Latin, “Ex Africa semper aliquid novi” which roughly translated means “Always something new out of Africa”.
