We had a wonderful trip down memory lane at the end of November when we drove out of town to spend the weekend with Anna and Ola at their summer house in Friiberghs Herrgård, for a couple of days of eating great food and a bit of fresh air. Once again the girls have outdone themselves and shown what hardened travelers they’ve become. Fourteen hours from Singapore to Stockholm with a rushed change over in Doha and not a squabble or tantrum. Naturally the massive choice of children’s movies and a child meal option that over delivered in the chocolate department certainly helped but hey, I’m not complaining. I even slept more than the girls! Thank you Qatar Airways for a smooth flight indeed! The icing on the cake was arriving the next morning to a gloriously sunny Sweden. Always the best way to start a trip like this.
Grandma finally made it out to see us again this year for a quick week to tour Singapore and most importantly, see Stella & Saskia! The weather was fantastic and since it was the Children’s school holidays we all managed to spend some quality time together.
