Niseko Powder Adventure

Our first holiday to Hokkaido for an unforgettable week in Niseko. We had made a promise to make it to Japan for a ski trip at least once before we left Asia, ironically for me this trip was originally inspired by tales of pristine powder and almost year-round snow in an article of Action Asia that I read pretty much when we got off the plane in Singapore over ten years ago! Laos & Luang Prabang

We finally made it to Laos! After several years of procrastinating and dreaming we finally achieved one of the goals we had on our bucket list. Laos is a landlocked country tucked in the middle of the South East Asian peninsular and one of the more remote when compared to it’s noisy, bustling neighbours; both in terms of economic development but also thankfully in terms of tourism. A Weekend In Ho Chi Minh With The Cottons

Before Christmas the family travelled to Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam for a weekend with our old friends, James & Lena and their children, Yona, Ebba & Oskar. They have been in Vietnam for a little over a year and stay in a huge house in District 2. We had a very relaxed weekend doing some sight-seeing and visiting the shops but mostly it was a wonderful chance to catch up and hear how they were settling in.
