From Taipei into the Typhoon

I have just landed in Hong Kong after two days in Taipei, and straight into the arms of the tropical storm Fengshen! Two days in hot and steamy Taiwan went by very quickly and I only had a little time to dash out and get some photos from the roof of the hotel, which was very nice indeed! April Update

Since the last update we have been travelling quite a lot! It’s a lot easier now the girls are a bit older and can run around by themselves. In 2008 Lotta & Alastair have been busy with work and travel has dominated the schedule. Alastair has been to Tokyo (twice), Seoul and Hong Kong and Lotta has also been to Vietnam. August Update

Well another month has flown by and the highlight was Saskia’s First Birthday, on the 29th of July. There were plenty of games and cakes to be had, mostly gobbled up by Saskia until she ended the afternoon with a totally distended belly! For her big day we invited all her friends from the baby groups, set up a couple of inflateable castles/cars/houses in and around the house and let the kids go wild while the adults had a few glasses of wine!
