Well it’s a little late but as of last Wednesday the kids are back to school, this time in Stockholm at St Johannesskolan. The girls are both in mixed language classes so will be making friends with other children who have parents that are both Swedish and English speakers, so it should be pretty straightforward for them both to fit in. Today we celebrated Stella’s work at school this year and I had a chance to visit her classroom and witness first hand all of her hard work in Grade 1. She has been extremely busy learning about Myths & Legends, healthy foods and diets as well as enjoying several school trips and theatre visits. Her journal and story writing have been fantastic and her handwriting is coming along in leaps and bounds. Maths has been a big focus as well, and she’s now happily adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing as she progresses along with the well known Singapore Maths curriculum. […]
Today marked the end of term review for Saskia’s efforts at St. Joseph’s Elementary and her last term in Prep 2 with Ms Koh.
