Mai Khao Beach

In April the family had a quick weekend to Phuket and stayed at the Marriott Vacation Club on the pretext of applying for membership and enjoyed three nights free at this wonderful unspoilt patch of Phuket Island. The beach is almost deserted on account of it being a protected nature reserve for leatherback turtles who lay their eggs here once a year, and thankfully not a leopard skin speedo-wearing sex pest in sight!

Chiang Mai Retreat

It has been a few weeks since we went, but for a surprise retreat on Lotta’s birthday we went up to Chiang Mai for a short weekend break without the kids! Stella & Saskia had the weekend to themselves and their best friends while Lotta & I jumped onto a SilkAir flight to the north of Thailand.
