A Weekend In Ho Chi Minh With The Cottons

Before Christmas the family travelled to Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam for a weekend with our old friends, James & Lena and their children, Yona, Ebba & Oskar. They have been in Vietnam for a little over a year and stay in a huge house in District 2. We had a very relaxed weekend doing some sight-seeing and visiting the shops but mostly it was a wonderful chance to catch up and hear how they were settling in.

Vietnam: Hanoi & Ha Long Bay

The family has just returned from a fabulous weekend away to Hanoi in Vietnam. This is surprisingly our first visit to this city, and we were delighted with the experience. Hanoi is still very much an older city in Asia, with few large skyscrapers and it retains a certain character that is missing from the more developed cities like Bangkok. April Update

Since the last update we have been travelling quite a lot! It’s a lot easier now the girls are a bit older and can run around by themselves. In 2008 Lotta & Alastair have been busy with work and travel has dominated the schedule. Alastair has been to Tokyo (twice), Seoul and Hong Kong and Lotta has also been to Vietnam.
